Beautiful farmhouse in the heart of the Emporda

Beautiful farmhouse recently restored by one of the most prestigious architects specializing in the rustic sector in the area, Lluis Auquer.

Located in a spectacular setting at the foot of the Gabarras and surrounded by emblematic villages such as Cruilles, Monells or Fonteta. Plains of cultivated fields and on the horizon the Pyrenees make this farmhouse a special place to enjoy the nature offered by the environment but at the same time the security and comfort offered by being only 5 minutes from the important urban center of La Bisbal de L’Emporda.

The farmhouse is divided into 2 buildings for main house and guest house connected by a bridge on the top floor, highlighting the entrance courtyard with summer kitchen and wood oven under the porch.

The main house is distributed in 2 floors. On the first floor a huge entrance hall welcomes us, leading to the kitchen and dining room with fireplace and a maid’s room with en suite bathroom and ironing area. On this level there is also a complete bathroom and a second room currently used as a multipurpose room with access to the outside.

On the upper level, another large distributor floor with fireplace, 2 bedrooms sharing a bathroom, master bedroom suite and library.

The guest house has two other levels; the ground floor consists of a large living room ideal for gatherings with friends, connected to a beautiful porch with access to the garden and pool. On the upper floor there is a double bedroom, a bathroom, a living room and a large terrace with beautiful views.

The whole farmhouse was restored respecting the original materials and styles of the time but at the same time important changes were made to achieve the brightness and comfort of a house of modern construction. The house has also been the subject of articles in magazines and books about original farmhouses.

The farmhouse has a private well with a daily flow of 30,000 liters, ideal for irrigation and swimming pool.
